What a daily is

Each game on this page has one daily: a deal, a puzzle, a board or a challenge made from the date. Everyone who opens it that day gets exactly the same one, so a friend's time or score means something, and it changes at midnight by the clock on your own phone or computer. A daily is short on purpose. Mini Golf's is one hole and the Daily dice is one scorecard, while the Saturday crossword is a 13×13 for a slow morning.

The puzzles follow the week. Sudoku is Easy on Monday and Expert on Sunday, Crossword grows from a 7×7 to a 13×13, and Memory starts small and ends the week on a 6×6 board. Daily Bingo gives every player the same calls and cards, so you can compare the call of your first bingo. Letter Lark hands everyone the same wheel of letters each day, with a calendar that marks every day you cleared it. Monday is a good day to start a habit; Sunday is the one to brag about.

Streaks, crowns and calendars

Win a daily deal in Solitaire, Spider, FreeCell, TriPeaks or Pyramid and a crown goes on that day of the calendar. The streak counts the days you play in a row, and 26 of these games keep one: Memory shows it as a flame, and so does the Rack Run button in Billiards. In Solitaire, FreeCell, Sudoku and Crossword the calendar also lets you go back and play a day you missed.

Some dailies are made to be shared. Trivia, Flags & Capitals, Pip Parlor, Lagoon Lineup, Tinker Tumble and Letter Lark have a Share button that sends your result to a friend. Daily Trivia gives one try, with no Skip, so everyone faces the same ten questions.

Why come back tomorrow

Because it is a different game every day, and a small one. A daily is a fair test: in Solitaire, FreeCell, TriPeaks and Pyramid it is a deal our solver has already won, and the Mines daily board can always be cleared by logic. There is something to collect too. In Solitaire and Spider, two daily wins unlock the Graphite table, and the daily rounds of the arcade games pay coins like any other game.

The dailies of the card and puzzle games never cost coins. In eight sport and arcade games, Billiards, Darts, Mini Golf, Basketball, Racing, Lampwire Dash, Dustup Ranch and Fizzwell, the daily is a game like any other: 40 play coins, and every new player gets 800. Coins are free to earn and have no money value; how coins work.

Questions and answers

When does a new daily start?

At midnight on your own device's clock. Until then, today's daily stays the same however often you open it.

Is the daily the same for everyone?

Yes. It is made from the date, so every player gets the same deal, puzzle or challenge on the same day.

What happens to my streak if I miss a day?

The streak counts days in a row, so it starts again from one. The crowns you won stay on the calendar.

Do I need an account?

No. Your dailies and streaks are saved on your device. With a free account they follow you to your other devices.
