What a motorcycle racing game is
In a motorcycle racing game you ride a bike against other riders, usually from the saddle or just behind it. A bike feels different from a car: it leans into every bend, it is light enough to slip through narrow gaps, and it carries its momentum, so a steering input takes a moment to change its path. Street racing games add traffic to the road, and the race becomes as much about reading gaps as about raw speed. None of it belongs on a real road.
Playing Moto Rush on AllFun
AllFun Moto Rush is a street race on three city routes, ridden from behind the fairing of a sport bike. Harbor Run is the seafront at sunset, Civic Circuit the longest at 3.8 km, and After Hours a wet, neon-lit night; each race is over in roughly a minute. Rivals come in three grades: Rookie, Sport and Expert.
Drag anywhere to steer, or hold the arrow buttons. There is no throttle to hold: the bike gathers speed on its own to 205 km/h. BRAKE drops you behind a car, and NITRO lifts you to 259 km/h. With a keyboard, steer with A and D or the arrows, brake with S, and use Space or Shift for the nitro. Moto Rush is on our arcade games page and with the games for friends on our two-player games page.
How a race works
The start and the finish
A race has six riders on the grid, and crossing the line first wins it. Against computer riders you line up last, so every place is earned by passing. Cars, vans and trucks share the lanes, and some change lane with their blinkers on: watch for a flashing light before you aim for a gap.
Collisions
Run into the back of a car and you lose up to two thirds of your speed; a glancing blow off its side costs less. Either way, the bike takes a moment to grip again, so a crash costs more than the second it seems to.
Nitro, close calls and the slipstream
A full nitro tank lasts under four seconds. Let go of the button and it refills by itself. Two things fill it faster: a close call, passing a car tightly at speed, which tops it up at once, and the slipstream, riding a few metres right behind another rider, which also gives a little extra speed.
Racing friends
Tap Race a friend, then Create the invite, and send the link or the five-character code. Up to five friends join from their own phones or computers, and Start now fills any open places with computer riders. Play Online finds riders who want a race now.
Six riding tips
- Steer early. The bike carries its momentum, so start a move before you reach the gap, not when you are beside the car.
- Look two cars ahead. Pick the gap after next while you pass the current one, since the bike needs a moment to come upright and lean the other way.
- Nitro on open road only. Hitting traffic at top speed throws away everything the boost gave you. Fire it where the road ahead is long and empty.
- Chain close calls. Every tight pass adds to the tank, so threading several cars in a row can feed the nitro for most of a straight.
- Tuck in, then pass. Sit in a rival's slipstream to refill and gain speed, then pull out to pass just before a straight ends.
- Brake for a gap, not in panic. A short touch of BRAKE to drop behind a car is better than a collision. Release it as soon as the line is clear.
Moto Rush FAQ
How many people can race together?
Six in all. Invite up to five friends with Race a friend; any seat still empty at the start gets a computer rider.
How do I refill the nitro faster?
Pass cars closely at speed for close calls, and ride in another rider's slipstream. Letting go of the button refills it too.
What happens if a friend leaves in the middle?
The race carries on for everyone, and the leaver's bike still completes the route. When it is over, everyone taps Rematch to go again.
Is Moto Rush free?
Yes. Your opening race costs nothing; after it, each race uses 40 play coins, and coins come back for every place, the most for beating Expert rivals. Coins are not money: see how coins work.
